Our 6 Step Cabinet Refinishing and Refacing Process
The first step in refinishing, is removing the cabinet doors and drawer faces and bring to our shop in Phoenix. For refacing, we will measure and order new doors and drawers from supplier who ships directly to our shop.
Next, we will clean and sand all of the cabinet doors and drawers in our sanding machine. We will then scuff doors to prepare for primer and topcoat.
Now we are able to spray on primer, scuff, sand and apply final topcoat tinted to the color selected by the homeowner.
Now we will carefully package up doors and drawer fronts to prepare for the transport to the client's home.
When we get to your home we will prepare the space for refinishing by covering everything other than cabinet bases with paper, plastic and tape. We will also create a plastic barrier to avoid excess fumes and control dust.
Finally, we will apply methods found in steps 2 and 3 to the cabinet bases. After finishing bases, we will install cabinet doors, drawer fronts, and hardware. Ta-da! Admire your newly painted cabinets.
